Communities are either gone completely or incredibly broken. What has shone through is hope in the people of Appalachia who have the grit to dig out and rebuild. They could use all the help they can get. There are multiple organizations that have mobilized and stationed themselves to supply people with the basics to live, but ongoing support will be their lifeline.
