“Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we give.” -Ben Carson

The holiday season is a time for giving, and there are plenty of charities that help children in need. You can make a positive impact on your community and encourage your friends and family to do the same. We are all in this together. The children in our communities need our help more than ever to bring them hope and support through the hardest times of their lives. Here are 7 charities that help children that you can donate to this season:

1) Toys for Tots

It’s the 75th anniversary of Toys for Tots. Each year, the Marine Corps collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute them to less fortunate children throughout the United States. You can find out more to help your local campaign here.

2) St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
